“Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour” (1 Pet. 5:8)(ESV).
You know, a lion on the hunt looks for lone prey, simply because it is easier to attack one who is outside of the shelter and protection provided by the larger group.
Those who identify themselves as Christians (Christ-followers) but refuse to unite with a local body of Christ should perhaps take heed.
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing” (Heb. 4:24-25)(ESV).
